Would you like to write your autobiography or memoir? This workshop will help you identify your audience, learn the key elements of personal-story writing, and publishing requirements/options. Rosann Ferris will also share lessons learned while she wrote her story, “Persian Knots: A Memoir of Love, Sacrifice, and Endurance,” on life in Iran, before and during the 1970s revolution. It’s a unique opportunity to learn and ask questions from an experienced memoir writer.
Rosann Ferris is a double undergraduate degree and a graduate degree holder. She has worked in the field of Engineering and Real Estate. Her years spent in Iran as a young college graduate led her to record her experiences in her very personal memoir, Persian Knots. She shares her writing journey to inspire others to capture their own impactful moments of time. She is a member of the Pacific Northwest Writers Association and Wordherders.
