Echo Corn Maze

  • 300 N. Dupont St. Echo, OR 97826 usa (map)

Echo Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch is planning to open for the 7th year Saturday October 1st, 2022. Our mission at Echo Corn Maze has always been to provide a fun, family friendly, safe environment. Echo Corn Maze started when Gina and Bob Tyhuis adopted Brent in October of 2016. They wanted to add to the community they lived in and saw it as a great opportunity to teach others about agriculture. Today it’s still a family affair with help from Brent and her husband Bob along with local friends and family. Every year they like to add a new feature to keep it fun for kids and families from all over Eastern Oregon and Washington. This year the maze design is dedicated to raising funds for Echo local Natalie Lapp who is currently battling breast cancer. Natalie was hospitalized in early July from complications and has only just been able to come home this month. Natalie’s family has setup a GoFundMe at www.gofundme.com/f/support-natalies-fight-against-cancer.

The Echo Corn Maze is 8 acres of fun and takes approximately one hour to complete. For the little ones there is the much smaller Straw Bale Maze, or Mini Corn Maze. Kids can spend hours digging though the kernels in the Corn Crib or finding the perfect pumpkin in the patch. Take a tour around the farm in the Kiddie Carts for those up to 6 years, a Zip Line, and Tunnel Maze. This year we have added a variety of sunflowers to wander in also. In the evening families can rent the cozy Fire Pits.

Admission is $10 for the Echo Corn Maze, the Corn Crib, the Mini Corn Maze, the Straw Bale Maze & Tunnels. $12 for the All Day Pass or Field of Screams events. $1 per ride on the Zip Line, and Kiddie Carts. Regular Hours for the corn maze Fridays: 2pm – 10pm, Saturdays: 11am – 10pm, Sunday: 11am – 6pm. Tuesdays through Thursdays are set aside for school field trips and group visits.

Our special events include the Field of Screams or haunted maze section Oct 15th, 22nd, 28th, and 29th, from 7-9pm. Tickets are $12 and include all general admission features. We will have food trucks on site like 3rd Generation BBQ and Mary’s Tacos during the haunt dates. We are again offering $5 Fridays reduced admission on Oct, 7th, 14th, and 21st from 2-6pm.
