The community is invited to join the Heartlinks grief support staff for an evening of heartfelt remembrance and celebration, honoring the lives of those who have passed away this year.
The public may attend one of three memorial services on Thursday, May 30 from 6 to 6:30 p.m. in Grandview, Richland and Yakima. Heartlinks will provide opportunities for reflection, allowing all participants to remember and honor those who have left an indelible mark on their hearts. As part of the tribute, Heartlinks staff will read the names of each person who has passed away on its hospice care since January 1, 2024.
“If you are dealing with the loss of a loved one, attending Heartlinks’ Evening of Remembrance will provide a meaningful and supportive experience,” says Executive Director Shelby Moore. “This night offers a unique opportunity to connect with others who are navigating similar grief. The evening promises to be a significant step in your journey of grief and healing.”
Helen Keller once said, “We bereaved are not alone. We belong to the largest community in the world – the community of those who have known suffering.”
The events are open to anyone who has lost a loved one, whether or not they were served by Heartlinks. RSVP is not required. Attendees are encouraged to bring a friend or family member.
An Evening of Remembrance will begin at 6 p.m. at the following locations:
