Independence Day is right around the corner and it is definitely going to be hot. What better way to cool off then with delicious cold drinks using our favorite local Vido Vodka ? We have made a list of our favorite Red, White, and Blue cocktails specifically to enjoy while watching the fireworks display!

Strawberry Basil Crush

Strawberry Basil Crush - 5 Minutes 1 Serving

What you’ll need:

• Cocktail Shaker

• Strainer

• Muddler

• Glass

Ingredients:

• 1 1/2 oz Vido Vodka

• 2 Strawberries

• 4 Basil Leaves

• Juice from half of a lemon

• 1-2 tsp honey

• Splash Sparkling Water

• Ice

Making the delicious Strawberry Basil Crush!

Add strawberries, basil, lemon and honey to a cocktail shaker and muddle. Add vodka and ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a glass with fresh ice. Top with a splash of sparkling water. Garnish with strawberry slices and basil.

Our favorite thing about this drink is the sweet taste of strawberries and honey with the refreshing taste of basil! It sure does make the heat a little more enjoyable.

The VIDO Mule

The Vido Mule - 5 Minutes 1 serving

What you’ll need:

• Copper Cup

• Muddler

• Strainer

Ingredients:

• 2 oz Vido Vodka

• .5 oz Lime juice

• .5 oz classic simple syrup

• Ginger Beer

• Ice

• Cucumbers, berries, lime and mint

Muddle together Vido Vodka, lime juice, simple syrup, and two slices of lime. Strain into copper mug. Fill the mug with ice, then add ginger beer until full.

Blueberry Lemon Fizz

Blueberry Lemon Vodka Fizz - 5 Minutes 1 Serving

What you’ll need:

• Muddler

• Glass

Ingredients:

• 2 oz Vido Vodka

• 1 can San Pellegrino Limonata

• Handful of Blueberries

• Sliced Lemon

Making the refreshing Blueberry Lemon Fizz

Put a handful of blueberries at the bottom of your glass and muddle. Pour in vodka! Fill the glass with ice and then pour the Limonata to fill. Use a straw to stir and enjoy!
